The Gydra Solitary, Huge, Terrifying Bite (d10+3 damage 1 piercing) 20 HP 1 armor Reach, Ignores Armor Special Qualities: Refractive feathers, 23 goose heads A creature thought only to exist in legend, the Gydra is a dragon-sized goose with twenty-three heads, each head being that of a different species of goose. Its feathers are brilliantly refractive, so much so that it has been said it can blind those who gaze upon it, and it is unusually quick considering its size. In the stories from which it hails it is said the Gydra seeks the pure of heart, and that once it finds someone it deems worthy it will bestow upon them a great boon. Rothorn Group, Small, Devious, Terrifying, Amorphous Grab (d4 damage) 9 HP 1 armor Close Special Qualities: Rot Grub Symbiosis, Smells and looks like rotting flesh Have you ever seen a mushroom that walked on two feet and had a grotesque head of splitting fungi that both looked and smelled like a rotten and exploded head? No? Then count yourself lucky. Rothorns are some of the vilest plant-like critters I've ever had the displeasure of cataloging. They shamble around in groups of three or four, lunging out at anything that moves near them. If it manages to get a hold of something, it starts undulating in a horrendous manner, letting out some sort of scream that sounds like something being boiled alive, and then it explodes. Not only that, but each Rothorn seems to be a walking colony of Rot Grubs, those disgusting little buggers that burrow into their food and hosts only to burst out later after laying their eggs in it. If it manages to kill something, the spores it releases end up converting the corpse into another Rothorn. Instinct: to spread
- Latch onto them
- Violently explode into spores and grubs

Trained to gather information and carry out missions in other realities that may seem benign but often have cascading effects on the realities neighboring them. These spies are incredibly deadly and honed to a razor-sharp edge. The only way to know someone is a reality spy is by catching a glimpse of their reality-tearing blades, but even then you may be dealing with someone who killed and looted the blade, which just might be even more dangerous. Instinct: to complete its mission
- Shift to a neighboring reality
- Learn their secrets from another reality
- Use a piece of otherworldly technology

Oil Paint Beast Group, Devious, Construct, Amorphous Paint Spit (d6+2 damage) 13 HP 1 armor Close, Forceful, Near Special Qualities: Drawn to blank canvases A form made up of swirling oil paints of multiple colors that shifts shapes frequently. This beast is animated by pure Chaos magic, and it wants nothing more than to make the world as colorful and splendid as itself. Unlucky for you, that means it wants to cover you (and your insides) with toxic oil paints. Lucky for you, these creatures seem magically drawn to any blank canvas within line of sight, and what's better yet is the canvas can be used to turn the beast back into an inert painting. Instinct: to cover everything in itself
- Entomb them in paint
- Fill their lungs with paint

Chaos Haunt Solitary, Tiny, Magical, Stealthy, Devious, Intelligent, Planar, Amorphous Dissonant Shriek (d10-2 damage) 19 HP 5 armor Hand, Ignores Armor A Chaos Haunt is a fledgling daemon of Imir, Twin God of Chaos. These fledgling daemons will seek out the living and intelligent creatures of this world, searching for someone whose passion far outweighs any other traits to possess. The daemons then prey on this folly of the Twin God of Balance by amplifying their weak chaos magicks through the imbalanced passion of their host in order to spread chaos in the form of passion. It can be tricky to detect when a Chaos Haunt has possessed someone, as they can perfectly mimic the host down to their memories. The one surefire way of detecting a Chaos Haunt is by studying a person for some time, and if you find that strange things begin happening after they engage with their passion, a Chaos Haunt is almost certainly the culprit. Instinct: To amplify its chaos through possession
- Possess a passionate person
- Mimic a host perfectly
- Cast a confusing spell
- Imbue the host's passion with chaos magick
- Smells the scent of your Passions, and how strong they are

Wisp of Remembrance Solitary, Huge, Devious Highten Emotions (w[2d8]+3 damage) 20 HP 0 armor Reach, Ignores Armor, Far Special Qualities: Intangible Ever since man first stepped out of the primordial spawning pools we have felt. Anger. Fear. Joy. Sometimes, when someone experiences something truly unique, something that has an intense and profound effect on the psyche - positive or negative - a Wisp of Remembrance is born. It takes the shape of the focus of that event, though greatly embellished - much like the memory itself. The experiences feel larger than life, and so the Wisps are too. These creatures exist through the power of extreme emotion, and so too are they sustained. Be careful if you have something big deep within your soul, or you may see someone else's come to feed. Instinct: to feed on strong emotion
- Read their memories
- Make them re-live their memories (the player should agree to this OOC first, give them 1XP if they do it.)

Boggit Wurm Solitary, Stealthy, Hoarder Mandible crunch (d10+2 damage) 12 HP 1 armor Close Special Qualities: Burrowing Mandibles If you ever find yourself traveling the marshlands of Dungeon World, be sure to travel with two others, lest a Boggit Wurm catch you unawares. These man-sized worms like to burrow near roads and other congested areas to then erupt from the ground and snatch up whatever disturbed its antennae to drag back into its burrow and eat. Many an adventurer has perished from a Boggit Wurm ambush, so if you find a burrow and manage to kill the thing, could be some goodies in it for you. Hm? Why do you need two others? Easy, one person you trust to save you from the damn thing and another you can outrun so it gets them instead. Instinct: to eat
- Burrow in congested areas
- Erupt from the ground and grab them
