Known by miners their worst nightmare, fire serpents are snakes looking creatures that have develop a taste for coal and brimstone, and limestone, through evolution they created a special digestive chemical that is very flammable and they use it to protect themselves and heat up rocks for digestion. Whenever they are threaten they engulf themselves in flames to burn their attackers. The live in colonies of hundreds to millions of them. The live under the rule of their Serpent Queen who both is the mother and boss of all fire serpents. They protect their queen and colony with their lives, without their queen they loose their sense of purpose (or so experts think) Instinct: Wants to serve its Serpent Queen and protect its colony
