Lifedrain reavers are horrible constructs. Instead of gaining power from an elemental spirit bound into its form, instead a living being must be interred in a special, almost sarcophagus-esque chamber on the construct's back. this chamber will keep the subject alive, but when the reaver enters battle, it will drain the life essence of the trapped person in order to fuel its powers, which will eventually kill the interred.
