The bones of a cultist, bound and articulated by magically conductive materials. The bones are covered in secret and powerful runes, glyphs, sigils, and/or inscriptions. Binding the bones and articulating them are some means of connecting the various pieces and circulating the magic that works to keep the creation bound to its power source, the mutilated soul of the cultist who provided the core materials. This binding can be as simple as paper or cloth strips imbued with marks of directing and anchoring, as strong as mithril or adamant pins and wires, as powerful as bonds of raw magic which burns like blue fire in the dark.
